Army Spouse of 14 plus years, been through 4 deployments and several other seperations from husband. Husband returned from last deployment with severe PTSD and TBI and we are struggling to overcome the effects that it has placed on our family. We are now looking at the medical discharge. The Army believes that my husband is only 50% disabled, that leaves us with about 1/3 of the pay we are used to. How are we to keep the house and cars with that?  There are days that you just want to throw in the towel but know that the love is stronger. I just recently found out that I have COPD and congestive heart failure due to years of smoking, this has caused great distress upon the family. I have been the one to hold the family together for the last year. Well God willin, and the creek don't rise we will get through this. I think that the creek is risin!

I was adopted at the age of 4. I often write my Hubs about what it was like to be adopted at that age. I have several memories before the adoption. I was reunited with my biological family in 2000. It has been an up and down road. I always tell those who ask that it is not like the television shows it. I gained a sister that I never knew I had until 2000. She and I have become pretty good friends these few years.

I have wrote about both sides of the my life. Sometimes it feels like I live a double life. Each side of my family wants to be seperate from the other. Life is such and must go on, so I will continue to be me until me is no longer here.
